This is incredibly relevant.
Show them love, kindness, humility and respect. If they have hurt you or brought you down, find the love in your heart to forgive them. Just like us they too are humans, forgiveness is the key.
Ultimately you only have one set of parents and a very short time on earth.

Never had the greatest relationship with my parents on a personal level. I also may not agree with their old school mentality, But they have the hardest job in the world, and just that alone deserves eternal gratitude.
